A meeting of Departmental Development Sub-Committee was held on 19th August 2012 to consider scheme pertaining to establishment of Working Women Hostels including 2 at Lahore, 1 at Sialkot, 1 at Gujrat, 1 at Jhelum, 1 at Muzaffargarh, 1 at Rahim Yar Khan and 1 at Layyah. The committee observed that scheme may be resubmitted for consideration after carrying out sample survey through Gender Specialists of GRAP to assess need of establishment of Working Women Hostels. Next meeting of the Departmental Development Sub-committee shall be held shortly.
