Economic Empowerment of Rural Females in the Textile Sector
Turning Potential into Prosperity
The "She Threads" project is a flagship initiative to realize the Chief Minister's vision for women's economic empowerment. We are set to transform 2,500 marginalized rural women into a skilled, formal workforce, boosting Punjab’s textile exports and driving inclusive growth.
This initiative is sponsored by the Women Development Department and executed in collaboration with the Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF).
