Sumaira Samad, Secretary of the Women Development Department, Government of Punjab, participated in the launching ceremony of the " Women for Green Future Fellowship - Drive for Change", organized by the All Pakistan Women’s Association (APWA) on September 14, 2024, in Lahore.
The main aim of this drive was to support young women by offering training and skill development to help them build climate-resilient livelihoods and access decent work opportunities. The fellowship aligns with global sustainability goals, particularly promoting gender equality, decent work, economic growth, and climate action.
