The Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz has allocated 1 Billion rupees to the Women Development Department for the establishment of Day Care Centres across Punjab within public sector workplace premises. This is the highest amount of funding ever provided for day care centres since women development department started establishing day care centres in 2014. This initiative aims to address the challenges faced by working mothers and enhance female economic participation. Significant number of economic and employment opportunities for women will be created through this initiative by creation of jobs for running day care centres.
