A meeting was held on 25 April 2022 under the supervision of the Secretary Women Development Department, Ms. Saima Saeed with the Punjab treaty implementation cell (PTIC) in order to discuss the progress of the Women Development Policy Implementation Framework.
Meeting Highlights:
- Progress on Punjab Treaty Reporting and Implementation system (PIRS) from 2020 to 2022.
- Details of working of monitoring mechanism mentioned by PTIC.
- Nomination of a dedicated focal person from PTIC.
- All women-related conversions and covenants of the United Nations are under the preview of the Women Development Department.
