Awareness Campaign on “Stop Digital Violence Against Women” Conducted by WDD

Today under the leadership of Parliamentary Secretary Ms. Saadia Temur, the Women Development Department successfully conducted an awareness campaign on “Stop Digital Violence Against Women” as part of the 16 Days of Activism.

The event was attended by women, civil society representatives, students, and citizens. Key officials included Dr. Usman Ali Khan, Secretary WDD, Ms. Faiza Ahsan, Additional Secretary, Mr. Ijaz Ahmed Joiya, Secretary Punjab Commission on the Status of Women, Mr. Tariq Khan Naizi, Director, Directorate of Women Development Punjab, along with other department officials.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness about digital abuse, online harassment, and cyber violence against women, and received overwhelming appreciation from participants.

All forms of violence against women—digital or physical—are strictly unacceptable and a red line for the Punjab Government. WDD has issued special instructions to Harassment Cells, Women Protection Units, and Police Stations to ensure immediate and effective support for women.

Join us in this mission! Stand with the Women Development Department to end harassment and violence against women.
