A meeting under the chairmanship of Secretary Women Development Department Dr. Usman Ali Khan, was held on August 29, 2025, at WDD's Committee Room, Civic Centre, Sabzazar Lahore on the Provision of Relevant Data for the Punjab Gender Parity Report 2023 & 2024. Representatives from key departments and institutions including Education, Labour, Industries, Forestry, Election Commission, Social Protection, Safe Cities Authority, Forensic Science Agency, and others attended.
The meeting emphasized the importance of maintaining and sharing gender-disaggregated data for the timely completion of the Punjab Gender Parity Report (PGPR). The PGPR is central to the Prime Minister’s initiative on women’s empowerment, supports Pakistan’s international commitments such as the Global Gender Gap Report, contributes to monitoring gender-related SDGs, and helps identify priority areas for action and policy development.
