A review meeting “Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) Punjab, 2023” was held on 28-12-2022 at Women Development Department (WDD) under Chaired by Ms. Sumaira Samad - Secretary, Women Development Department, Government of the Punjab. Mr. Sajid Rasool - Director General, Bureau of Statistic attended the meeting with his BOS team. Mr. Waheed - Director, GMIS, Punjab Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW) Mr. Ubaidullah Zakrai - Deputy Secretary (Planning) WDD and Ms. Sajida Rasool - Section Officer (Technical), WDD were also part of that meeting. The following indicators regarding Transgender, Access to Public Transport, and Disability Profile to Access Health Facilities. BOS & WDD agreed to include these indicators in Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) Punjab 2023, which were suggested by WDD.
