The Essential Service Package (ESP) focused on provision of quality social services for women and girls subjected to violence in Pakistan. The aim of this programme is to provide greater access to a coordinated set of essential and quality multi-sectorial services for all women and girls who have experienced gender-based violence.
WDD concludes two days’ workshop, held in collaboration with UNFPA, UN Women, UNODC& WHO on a multi sectorial coordination mechanism for provision of essential services for survivals of Gender based violence.
- Over a course of 02 days, participants deliberated on GAPS in existing facilities and how to plug these through Global best practices and recommendations outlined in the UN essential services Package.
- Members of Planning P & D Board, Secondary Health, Punjab Police and Social Services institutions in Punjab, agreed with recommendations shared by key sectors, including coordination's for better service delivery.
