A team from the Women Development Department recently conducted a visit to district Vehari with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of the government's district-level initiatives and the challenges regarding women with disabilities. The visit was led by Project Director Mr. Azher Abbas, Data Analyst Ms. Madiha Muazzam and Research Associate Ms. Zainab Naveed. During their visit, they held meaningful discussions and consultations with various key stakeholders, including the Deputy Director of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal, Social Needs Officers, representatives from NGOs, Heads of Special Education Schools and Centres, Principal of PVTC and TEVTA institutions, the Zonal Manager and Assistant Director of NADRA, the Deputy Director of BISP, and the District Assessment Board for the person with disabilities.
