A two days National Conference on “Building Synergies between Gender Based Violence Helplines” was conducted by NCSW and MOHR in collaboration with UNFPA and Rozan on 22nd and 23rd May, 2023 at Pearl Continental, Bhurban. The purpose of the consultation was to provide Helplines across Pakistan an opportunity to share their scope of work, identify challenges and opportunities for cross Linkages and to come up with recommendations for the provincial governments to strengthen Helplines. MS. Sumaira Samad – Secretary, Women Development Department addressed the session that how vulnerable and minority group’s issues should be investigate during crisis. She also highlighted six (06) themes including GBV Knowledge, Data and caller Safety Protocols, Management and Financial issues etc. The session also covered some self-care methods for the Helpline staff in order to manage stress.
